Philanthropic Operations Associate, Partnerships (Jan. 2025 - Pres.)

The Philanthropic Operations Associate is a key member of the Philanthropic Resources team at The Pittsburgh Foundation.
 
The Philanthropic Operations Associate designs and implements programs and events at the Foundation’s space and serves as the main point of contact for all hospitality to external constituents, including high-net-worth donors, community partners, advisors, and others. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, public education programming, donor education and engagement opportunities, nonprofit training sessions, facilitating events for fee-based clients, and providing tours and services to visitors.
 
Additionally, they oversee and provide support for major strategic initiatives that connect donor-advised fund holders to the community, including the annual Wish Book, nonprofit application cycles, and funding projects that serve counties outside of Allegheny County.

B.F. JONES MEMORIAL LIBRARY

Public Service Clerk (2013-2023)

From 2013 to 2023, Taren's roles encompassed volunteer, job trainee, and employee positions at B.F. Jones Memorial Library within the Beaver County Library System and Job Training for Beaver County. These positions facilitated the development of valuable skills in research and customer service, while contributing to the growth of the library's services and its support for the community.
